Prior to our living in Savannah, during our life in Massachusetts, we had NEVER been introduced to this dark art of Santeria and Voodoo. It was a distant story and some folklore, and although we knew it existed, we did not spend a lot of time researching it until we came to Georgia. Georgia is a WHOLE different story. Its history is shroud with this black ancient magic. Stemming from Haitian voodoo and brought over with the slave trade.

This Southern state is heavy in history and has a lot of Santeria practicing people, known as “Witch Doctors.”

It is important that if you have not already done so, that you make yourself knowledgeable in this type of magical study. Even if you are not planning to use it, such as ourselves, we have made it a point to work with some of the items that have been black magick bound and spell cast, as well as hexes and curses performed by Witch Doctors of the Voodoo and Santeria kind, so that we know what we are up against when we are performing our light magick in opposition.

Let’s point out the obvious facts. In Georgia, we have had clients come to us that have needed healing. Some of these people had physical issues of their own, but several were actually curses and hexes cast upon them. It was incredible how potent these spells were, and it took us a lot of studying to realize that we would need to be more aware of the black magick around us to be able to combat it properly.

On a few occasions, with names we will not mention, we have even had visits from “black magick” witch doctors in our area, who wanted to “pay us a visit.” We always graciously accept people in to our home that need help, but on these occasions the meaning of their visits was otherwise. We have even been “warned” to stay out of the way of their work. We will not cease what we came to Georgia for. We came to do our light work and to live in peace, healing and improving the lives of all those that we come into contact with. There are also a couple of friends we have made with “witch doctor’s” for lack of a better word, however, that have been very gracious and nice to us, and have welcomed us to their homes and fed us at their tables. These two individuals we thank for giving us the opportunity to “understand” what they believe and to teach us about their culture.

Witchy Comments & Graphics

It is more now than ever, that we understand why we were called to live in this area.

The first reason is to broaden our knowledge and understanding of different magical beliefs and cultures, and we do make note that through our studies we have realized that although there is a sector of black magic that becomes very dark and is not of the light, there are some of this belief that do swear that they have never used it in the capacity of causing harm to another living thing. That is on their conscience, but we did feel the need to disclose that there are people practicing Santeria and Voodoo that do not think of themselves in a “dark evil magick” type of way. In fact, there have even been a couple of occasions in which they have given us little remedies that they have in their spell books for healing things, doing good, success, etc. We do not judge.

We just learn to be better knowledgeable on the subject.

LET THERE BE NO CONFUSION AS TO MY FAMILIES BELIEFS. WE ARE OF THE LIGHT. WE PRACTICE WHITE MAGICK ONLY. HOWEVER, WE STUDY ALL CAPACITIES AND RESEARCH ALL MAGICKAL CULTURES. WE DO NOT JUDGE. WE LEARN FROM IT.

The two we have become friends with, who happen to practice Santeria, have taught us a lot about accepting others of different beliefs. They told us a story the other night about their grandmother teaching them magic as a child, and how she had told them that her mother, their great grandmother, had practiced all capacities of Santeria, even that of the dark side, and that she witnessed as a child, many things, good and bad, that came along with it. As a child, she told herself that she would not engage in doing the dark side on any living thing. She learned both sides of it, but only did spells of the “nicer” type when directing them at living things. The two told us that they have “almost” always followed their grandmother’s advice. However, it is only in the last 7 years that they were able to say they have not done anything harmful to another, but that they have NEVER done anything harming to another that they did not deserve.

 photo SkullEyes_zpsc7a5be9d.gif

They did tell us that they made a pact 7 years ago, after having a complication with a dark spell they performed that went a bit wrong, that they would NOT ENGAGE in any further magic to harm another living thing, unless that person deserved it under 3 golden exceptions that they have written down.

The first golden exception to their dark arts rule, would be:

1) Should an adult abuse someone either physically or sexually, maliciously. This would include abusing an animal. That adult could be punished under their exception number 1.

2) Should an adult murder another maliciously, will ill intent. This could not be skepticism. It would need to be believable that this person were guilty without a doubt. That killer could be punished under the second exception for murder in order to prevent this person from being able to make further attacks or murder on another.

3) Should someone be hexing, cursing, or casting, dark black magick to harm another person whom had tried other ways to combat and had been unsuccessful. This would be a last resort and would be used with extreme caution. This would be if all else failed and the only way to combat or break the hex or curse was to use the same black magick being cast at the victim. The perpetrator would need to be stopped with the dark sector of black magick and it would be acceptable to do under this special circumstance.

They said that by living to these exceptions and standards, they had found their way to a better way of living. They felt more comfortable with themselves and had brought themselves back to the good graces of the universe. Let us be clear, they still practiced black magick voodoo and Santeria, but they do not perform anything to harm another living thing unless a special occasion warranted one of these three exceptions.

The reason we have given you all of this background, is because these sisters whom we have become friends with, have given us a few items of their own creations to sell in our store, and we are releasing several today, so if you practice this sort of magick, please take a look at the offerings.

“Voodoo” is much more than a religion. It’s not just a body of religious ideas, but a notion of how children should be raised, a notion of what education means, an awareness of politics. Voodooists see everything in the world as voodoo, along with everything they receive in life and everything that happens to them. Voodoo controls pleasure and pain. It controls, weather, politics, and whether something good or bad will happen to someone on a given day. It is everywhere, including in other religions, thus voodooists have no problem also belonging to Christian churches. Voodoo is all about power, and its practitioners will use anything they believe is powerful , including quotations from the bible and images of the devil. Voodoo is also the invisible world that permeates the physical one and directly influences it. On occasion the veil opens and direct contact with the spirits is made.” – Voodoo By John Richard Stephens.

THERE IS NO FREE WILL IN VOODOO.

In 1987 Voodoo became a protected religion under Haiti’s new constitution. The popular saying is that Haitians are seventy percent Catholic, thirty percent Protestant, and one hundred percent voodoo.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We are happy to have some of their offerings to offer to our wonderful clients, and if we cannot answer your question we will ask the sisters to answer it for us and they shall tell us what to answer you.

Namaste’ Now Friends.

What we have to offer you today is one that will help you in the ways of financial wealth!

"Spirits in Vodou are known as Loa. Catholic Saints lithographs are used to represent them. During slavery in Haiti, the masters forbade the slaves from pursuing Vodou as a religion, and anyone caught practicing any religion other than Catholicism were severely punished. The slaves, still deeply attached to their African roots, were obliged to use Catholic Saint Image in Vodou; pretending to be praying to them while deep in their heart, they were praying to their African gods. This is the main characteristic, that differentiate the Vodou that is practiced in Haiti and in Africa. Over 300 years have passed, but the tradition strangely still remain today, it is so deeply rooted in the religion that it is almost impossible to even imagine Haitian Vodou without the representation of the Loa with Catholic Saints' images." - From Hougansydney website

Although not invoked first, Damballah is the father of all the Loas. He is the archetypal wise Loa, the patriarchal serpent divinity, associated with wisdom, peace, purity, benevolence, life and innocence. Damballah is highly respected and is one of the most revered African gods. Along with his companion Ayida Wèdo, the rainbow serpent, he is viewed as the Loa of creation. Ceremonies for Damballah and/or Ayida Wèdo are extremely particular and highly elaborate, and all rules must be followed to the letters. First, everyone in the assistance must entirely be dressed with freshly clean, immaculate white clothes, women are to have their head tied with silk white scarves. It is very common for people to be asked to leave the temple if they're not in proper attire when Damballah is expected. Smoking, and alcoholic consumption are strictly forbidden.

After many sacred African litanies, Damballah will finally come in possession. As a snake, he doesn't have feet; the possessed immediately falls on the ground; undulating just like a snake to get by; does not talk, but only makes hissing and whistling noises. It is believed that his wisdom is too preeminent for us mortals to be expressed through words. Damballah is not a very demanding Loa in terms of offerings; usually a hen egg placed on a mound of flour, along a bottle of white anisette syrup or honey. A clean white bed sheet usually covers his head while he consumes his offerings.

Damballah is associated with the biblical figure Moses and, the Catholic Saint Patrick, in consideration of his affiliation with snakes. Alternatives: Damballah Wèdo, Damballah Laflanbo (Damballah the torch),
Damballah Tokan (intelligent snake),Odan (wisdom and endless life), Pyè Damballah.
Color: White

"Kreyòl m'ape di ou bonswa Bonswa Danballah Wedo (bis) M'ape mande kouman nou ye o! M'ape mande kouman nou ye o! Wi nou la, Wi nou la Damballah Wedo Lavi nou nan men bondye"

"Creole I am saluting you Salutations Damballah Wedo (bis) I'm asking how're you all doing I am asking how're you all doing. We're fine, we're fine Damballah Wedo our lives are in the hands of God." - Hougansydney website

NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT DAMBALLAH?

Damballah Wedo is one of the most revered of the African gods, the loa of peace and purity, of platinum and silver, and the one who grants riches and sustains the world. Optimism emanatesfrom his presence and it is he who is the original servant to the Creator.

Long ago, the serpent spirit Dambala created the world. He used his 7,000 coils to form the stars and the planets in the heavens and to shape the hills and valleys on earth. He used lightning bolts to forge metals and make the sacred rocks and stones. When he shed his skin he created all the waters on the earth. And when the sun showed through mist settling on the plants and trees a rainbow was born. Her name was Ayida Wedo. Dambala loved her and made her his wife. They are still together today, the serpent and the rainbow. Dambala and Ayida Wedo.

Some of the chief attributes of Damballah Wedo is his lack of human speech and an affinity for water. He has many aspects, one of which Damballah la Flambeau, where he appears in fire form and pure active energy. In this form he melds with the attributes of the Dragon, and represents the outward manifestation of Kundalini of the East rising.

Purpose: To bring wealth, happiness, optimism, and purity of thought to his possessor.

Use: To use this Voodoo Doll, light a white candle and tell Damballah Wedo your wishes in a sacred place. Appropriate offerings for Damballah Wedo include white eggs, white wine, cabbage, and white flowers. His color is white and his day is Sunday.

The most important concept in Voodoo is reverence to ancestors. Always be sure to remember those who have gone on before you. It is the single most important thing you can do to insure success in your ritualistic endeavors.
